Tournet Surveillance

Every corner of the event always in view!

Crowd management, security coordination or as theft protection in the warehouse: video surveillance is now standard at every major event. As a network service provider, video surveillance is an obvious choice for us, because our cameras are simply connected to our tournet backbone - and it's up and running!

We provide the full service: first, we determine the best camera positions together with you. During set-up, we install the cameras as planned and connect them to the network. We install monitors and TVs in your security control center or production office so that you always have a complete overview of the event site. There's also a control unit that your security staff can use to control and zoom the moving cameras live. During the event, our proactive monitoring ensures that all cameras are working perfectly. And after the event, you will receive all recordings directly from us via a secure link for downloading.

And the best thing about it? The redundancy of our tournet backbone also protects the video surveillance: (deliberately) damaged cables generally do not affect operation - because we transmit all data in duplicate. And our UPS buffering ensures that the cameras continue to run for another 60 minutes in the event of a power failure!

This is how safety works at events!

What makes Tournet video surveillance so special?

The power supply for our tournet cameras actually runs via our tournet backbone - in other words via the network cable. The technology behind this is called Power-over-Ethernet. This allows us to operate cameras up to 100m away from the nearest power connection.
