Sunshine or rain? Well, we can‘t do anything about the weather if you are planning a festival as an event agency. What we at Tournet can do really well, however, is to plan and implement the network foundation for your event.
No matter if it is a live stream in a TV studio, a hybrid event or a festival on a green field. Our customers appreciate us because we are a very experienced and reliable partner for stable network infrastructure and IT solutions for events. From any place in the world. For every crazy idea. With a pinch of muscle, rock‘n roll and a lot of brain power.
The highlight: As network engineers, we have developed the Tournet Backbone system. Tournet Backbone stands for the planning and construction of a unified wired network using copper and fiber optic lines at your event.
This saves you time and money in the area of event technology, because video and sound also run over our network. With the Tournet all-round service you book monitoring, redundancy and professionalism for your event - in the set-up phase and during the event.
Fiber optics? DSL? 5G? Satellite? Of course, we take care of the right internet connection and organize the load distribution for you.
Now we‘re curious about your idea.
Interlinking of multiple event locations, e.g. at hybrid events
DANTE, NDI, Artnet - the interface future in event technology is IP-based.Andreas Krischer, Managing Director MP Next GmbH
The Tournet Backbone is our foundation: a scalable, ready-to-use IP network designed specifically for on event use. Exchangeable core infrastructure, mobile in-case with 1 Gbit/s throughput up to a server rack format with 80 Gbit/s routing capacity form the "heart" of the Tournet. This is supplemented by an individual number of "edge switches" depending on the extent of the network.
Our Tournet system scales: We ship simple router/access point combinations as rental systems directly to the event location without technicians and provide remote support. Our focus is on larger events where particularly extensive and/or particularly stable networks are required. In most cases, we are on-site with a team of at least three technicians.
We are IT specialists with event experience. Most of our colleagues have completed an IT specialists training for system integration and learned the know-how of the event industry during their practical work. We are not afraid of physical work.
Yes! We also offer switches, routers and Wi-Fi access points for rent without staff. For network switches we have managed ones by HPE / Aruba. Regarding Wi-Fi we have almost a hundred access points from Ruckus and Ubiquiti UniFi in stock. If you have a rental request, don't hesitate to write an email to email@example.com or call 02422 18 202 0 and ask for Giacomo or Andi.
Yes and no. For fixed event connections (fiber optics, DSL), we commission the switching from suitable ISPs such as Telekom, Versatel or Vodafone. In the area of 5G and satellite uplink, on the other hand, we offer ready-to-use systems for rent.
IP-based networks are extremely flexible in terms of medium and transmission type. Classic CAT networks maxes out at 100 meters, but with our LR fiber optic modules we can also manage more than 10 kilometers. Our microwave transmission equipment is recommended for distances of up to 5 kilometers. If it needs to be really far away: Using SD-WAN and Site2Site VPNs, we can easily interconnect sites around the world.
